Having a background in Project Management, I'm always amazed at how many tasks it takes to pull off a 1-hour Oprah Show. Hundreds of hours and hundreds of details later, the show is perfectly produced. Congratulations to the Producers at Harpo, who really are the best in the business

Oprah's final show, Love Letter Lessons, was a perfect way to end the Oprah Winfrey Show. Having been interviewed by Oprah four times on her Soul Series on Oprah & Friends Radio(C), I personally know what it's like to hear a direct message from her. When she delivered her Love Letter, it was like she was delivering this message to me:
And your life is always speaking to you. First in whispers. And a whisper in your life feels like, “mmm, That's odd...that doesn't make no sense...or mmm...is that right?” It's subtle those whispers and if you don't pay attention to the whispers, it gets louder and louder and louder. It's like getting thumped upside the head. If you don't pay attention to that, it's like getting a brick up the side of the head. If you don't pay attention to that, the whole brick wall falls down.

In my Law of Attraction life, whispers are contrast. Contrast does not feel right or good. Some of you may use the word intuition, gut feeling, a sense, or little voice-they all mean the same thing.

How do whispers show up and appear in your life?

I remember the time I got the whisper about leaving my laptop unattended. It was a fleeting thought. I brushed it off, but while brushing it off I gave it more attention. I attract things FAST, both wanted and unwanted. Yes, I ignored the whisper and my Mac laptop was stolen. I didn't even get ticked off. I attracted it. It was a perfect match to the whisper. I did, however, get my Mac back from using the theft-tracking software installed on my laptop.

There was another time in my life when I DID listen to the whisper. It's a personal story. In 2003, I was asked to participate in The Secret. I spoke with the creator of the project and I did not feel a match. Within 10 minutes of the conversation, my whisper meter was saying, “This is not a match, this is not a match.” So, I declined the invitation. Years later, when The Secret was released (three years after my book Law of Attraction was released), I briefly regretted my decision. Briefly. What I came to learn is that there’s a place for my book-it's the how-to book in the Law of Attraction world, and I am proud of that.
Acknowledge your whispers.  Use your whisper meter (which measures negative and positive vibes) to help you make decisions.  It's always right.  Read the entire Love Letter Lessons
